Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Pediatrics/OB/Team Float

The Clinic Pediatrics LPN/Clinic Team Float will perform efficiently and accurately when assisting physicians and/or carrying out physician orders as related to patient care, including appropriate documentation.
They must exhibit proficient and professional communication with patients, co-workers, and physicians.
This position involves: Effective and timely communication with patients, families and those involved in the patients’ care.
Facilitating communication in regard to patient care between patient and provider and works to be a patient advocate at all times.
Completing and using thorough documentation of all patient interactions in the electronic medical record.
Basic rooming of patient.
Knowledge of preparing patient and room for procedures and assisting Physician/Provider.
Adequate knowledge of provider practice type.
Ensure efficient and accurate patient care coordination.
Performs all tasks per physician/provider order within scope of practice or specialty training.
Prior authorization of medications.
To perform in this position requires the incumbent must have an active MN LPN license.
This position requires current Healthcare Provider level CPR certification upon hire or must be obtained within 6 months.
