Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) - Medical Oncology

The LPN or MA exhibits proficient and professional communication with patients, co-workers, and physicians.
Performs efficiently and accurately when assisting physician and/or carrying out physician orders as related to patient care, including appropriate documentation.
Be knowledgeable of resources available in Lake Region Healthcare and the community with regards to health care.
Incumbent will be responsible for rooming patients, relaying health information, making appointments within LRHC system and outside & coordination of general healthcare.
Will be trained in to provide cross coverage to our authorization specialist role.
Shifts 64 Hours Biweekly; Day shifts from 7:45am-4:15pm Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills, and/or abilities.

Education/Special Skills: To perform in this position requires the incumbent to be either a graduate of a school of practical nursing with current LPN licensure in Minnesota OR certified as a Clinical Medical Assistant.
Must have the ability to communicate proficiently and professionally in both verbal and written methods.
Must possess patient evaluation abilities.
This position requires current Healthcare Provider level CPR certification upon hire or must be obtained within 6 months.

Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening process required.
