Level 3 NICU
Deliver nursing care to neonates - assess/diagnose/establish a plan with outcome criteria/intervene/evaluate/chart.
Assist with procedures - to include, but not limited to, intubation, spinal taps, PICC line placement, IV starts, and admissions.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.
Conventional ventilators (Draeger), high-frequency ventilators - jet and oscillator, nitric oxide, cool cap, MedFusion pumps, Smart pumps, Spacelab monitors, Epic charting, MAK for medications, Accudose.
Required skills and minimum years of experience.
2+ years Perform neonatal assessments, care for IV’s Umbilical lines, CPAP, Nasal Cannula, Oral and IV medications, OG and NG feedings, G-tubes
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations are required.

Shift or schedule requirements.
The employee will work with the NICU team.
Shifts are 12-hour day/night rotating shifts and will include working every other weekend.
Floating to over units/departments.
PICU and PEDS as needed.
