We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Charge Nurse to join our team at our Retirement Community in Fargo, ND.
As a Charge Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our senior residents.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, leadership skills, and a genuine passion for enhancing the well-being of older adults.
Responsibilities: Clinical Leadership: Oversee and coordinate the delivery of nursing care to residents, ensuring it aligns with the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Conduct regular assessments of residents' health and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and provide direct nursing care as needed.
Act as a resource for nursing staff, providing guidance and support in clinical decision-making.
Supervision and Staff Development: Lead and supervise nursing staff, including Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, share best practices, and address any concerns or challenges.
Provide ongoing training and mentorship to ensure the professional development of the nursing team.
Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication within the nursing team and collaborate with other departments to optimize resident care.
Communicate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
Act as a liaison between nursing staff and management, conveying important information and advocating for the needs of the team.
Quality Improvement: Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities to enhance the overall quality of care.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, making adjustments as necessary to meet the evolving needs of residents.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a current, unrestricted license in the state.
Previous experience in geriatric nursing or a related field is highly desirable.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills.
