How You'll Make a Difference:
The Quality RN will work within the nursing scope to be a leader within the Quality team and be a liaison to the Director of Quality.
The RN will have active involvement and participation standardizing and monitoring the success of the quality team.
Additionally, will ensure state, federal, health plan, CMS, NCQA, and URAC requirements are met, as applicable.
The Quality RN will also ensure all internal Arkos processes and procedures are followed during the members care management journey.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide guidance and leadership, be a resource to the Quality department
Maintain and ensure the successful process flow of Quality processes
Provide standardized onboarding and training of Quality staff
Contribute to process improvement and Standard Operating Procedures
Develop, apply and monitor ongoing competencies, productivity, and identify training opportunities
Assist and resolve any issues with members, staff, etc.
in a professional and timely manner
Collaborate with Director of Quality on strategic planning to maintain metrics
Prepare and investigate any quality issues or complaint and Submit to Director of Clinical Services.
Conduct regular audits to ensure CMS, URAC, CLIA, corporate and partner compliance is standards are met
Inventory supply management, including ordering and tracking
Participate in the Mobile Outreach services as needed to ensure overall success
Willingness to maintain ongoing education as requested to support position and serve as a key partner in the department
Qualifications and Skills:
Current, unrestricted North Dakota Nursing license required.
Bachelor's level education preferred
Ability to present clinical information both accurately and confidently with all levels of internal staff and external customers and staff
Working knowledge of NCQA and URAC standards
Excellent knowledge of computer system programs, such as Word, Excel, Outlook
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and local managed care regulations, prior experience in Managed Care setting preferred
