Eventide Fargo is currently seeking a Full time, Weekend Status RN/LPN to work day shift (6:00a - 6:30p), or overnight shift (6:00p-630a).
Set schedule with a holiday rotation.
Set rotation of every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Weekend status shift differential added to base wage, along with weekend hour and overnight shift differentials! The RN/LPN provides and ensures that the highest degree of nursing care is provided and that it is consistent with the current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations as well as the philosophy, policies and procedures of Eventide.
Ideal Candidate Must have an active ND RN or LPN License or be able to obtain upon hire Long Term Care experience preferred but not required Essential Job Duties Assesses residents' health status and needs through physical assessments, observations, and interviews on a continuing basis.
Plans, implements, and evaluates residents' individualized plans of care.
Updates and makes appropriate changes in plans of care whenever necessary.
Plans of care include interdisciplinary care plans, physician orders, and NA-R care plans.
Administers medications and treatments and monitors each for effectiveness.
Provides direct nursing care to residents whenever necessary according to established nursing policies, procedures, and standards.
Provides accurate documentation in the residents’ records according to established resident care policies, procedures, and standards.
Provides effective leadership to subordinate staff, which may include disciplinary measures.
Ensures that work responsibilities of subordinate staff are completed thoroughly and accurately within scheduled shifts and according to established nursing policies, procedures and standards.
Provides information, education, and support for residents and their families.
Ensures adequate staffing levels for a scheduled shift and will assist in finding replacements when needed.
Communicates the needs of the residents to all resident care staff on the unit.
Interacts with physicians and advanced practitioners and health care facilities as needed, according to the needs of the residents.
Continually updates nursing skills and knowledge by attending in-services, continuing education programs, and staff meetings.
Assists with resident care conferences.
Assists in orientation/training of new team members.
Encourages and assists residents’ to attain their highest physical, mental, psychosocial well-being.
Responsible for promptly reporting any incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect or violation of resident’s rights per policy.
Complies with rules and regulations as set forth by the Department of Health and the Center for Medicare/Medicaid services.
Assumes accountability for management of their individual electronic timecard on a daily basis.
