Nurse Technician Intern- Jamestown Campus
The Nurse Technician will perform ongoing nursing health assessment, teaching, and nursing care to the clients under the direction of a licensed nurse.
They will performs supervised tasks related to delivery of health and personal cares, therapeutic, education, recreation, and leisure activities for the clients contributing to the overall IHP/IEP, behavior plans, and nursing care plans.
This position assumes the authority, responsibility and accountability for working with educational, therapeutic, and nursing staff in the implementation of the IHP/IEP, behavior plan and nursing care plan for the clients.
This position will perform personal cares and nursing cares to the clients and will be responsible for monitoring clinical interventions.
This position will supervise the DSP’s to ensure adequate care is being provided to the clients.
This position is responsible and accountable for the care provided and for assuring the safety and well-being of all clients.
This position works within the guidelines of ACC policies/procedures, State and Federal Laws, Rules, and Regulations.
Working 36 hours per week.
12-hour shifts and every 3rd weekend.
Internship program for Junior to Senior year RN students.
This position will meet the following minimum requirements:
Must be a Nursing student in an approved four-year nursing program that has completed the junior year and enrolled in a course at a ND Board of nursing approved program and is with clinical supervision from a preceptor.
