Camp Cormorant - Camp Health Officer

For over 100 years, YMCA Camp Cormorant has offered spirit, tradition, leadership, and exceptional facilities to campers.
Founded in 1903, Camp Cormorant is one of the oldest overnight camps in the entire nation.
The camp is nestled on 80 acres of wooded property with an extensive beachfront on Big Cormorant Lake.
We are located approximately six miles south of Lake Park, MN, in the heart of Minnesota lakes country.
The YMCA Camp Cormorant offers more than just a job - we offer the chance to make a lasting difference for the youth in our community! Camp Health Officer: The Camp Health Officer will provide care to staff and campers who become ill or injured and is responsible for coordinating additional medical attention if needed.
The Camp Health Officer will administer medication and treatment to campers and report employee and camper injuries.
2024 Camp Schedule: June 3-7 - Training June 9-14 - Week One (All Staff) June 16-21 - Week Two (All Staff) June 23-28 - Kamp KACE (No Cabin Counselors, Junior Counselors, or CITs) July 1-5 - OFF July 7-12 - Week Three (All Staff) July 14-19 - Week Four (All Staff) July 21-26 - Week Five (All Staff) July 28-Aug 2 - Week Six (All Staff) August 2-4 - Family Camp Weekend (Select Staff) August 4-9 - Week Seven (All Staff) August 11-16 - Week Eight (All Staff) Pay & Benefits: You will be paid a weekly rate of pay and paid bi-weekly.
Free room and board at the camp - you will need to live at Camp Cormorant! Qualifications: Certified Nursing Assistant Certification or EMT Certification Current driver's license and a good driving record At least 6 months experience working with youth.
