STATUS: Part time, non benefitted
JOB DESCRIPTION: Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) is seeking an adjunct instructor to assist with clinical courses to undergraduate students in the practical degree nursing program in the Valley City area.
The persons selected for the position will be responsible for planning, implementation, teaching, and evaluating student learning in the clinical setting.
This person will also be responsible for nursing skills assessment and clinical supervision.
This position requires strong organizational skills, technical and professional writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required.
A Master of Science Nursing is preferred.
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required to teach lab and clinical courses in the Practical Nursing program.
A Master of Science Nursing, Nursing Education, or related area, or currently enrolled in a master's degree program with an education plan approved by the CNE which will allow completion of the master's degree program within three years is required to teach lab and clinical courses in the Associate Degree Nurse program.
One year of nursing experience and a current ND nursing license.
SALARY: $35/hour-BSN, $40/hour-MSN
CLOSING DATE: Screening will begin April 15 or until a qualified candidate is hired.
