Eventide Sheyenne Crossings SL is currently hiring a Part-Time RN/LPN to work an every 3rd weekend with 12 hour shifts from 6:00 pm-6:30 am
LPN/RNs working part-time receive a 7% differential on all hours worked!!
The RN/LPN ensures that the highest degree of nursing care is provided in accordance with the current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations as well as the philosophy, policies and procedures of Eventide.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES OR REGISTRATIONS:
• Must have a current North Dakota RN/LPN License
• Must be in good standing in all states in which you have ever been licensed as a nurse in the United States.
• Previous long term care experience is required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Assesses residents' health status and needs through physical assessments, observation and interviews on a continuing basis.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates residents' plans of care.
Updates and makes appropriate changes in plans of care whenever necessary.
Plans of care include interdisciplinary care plans, physician orders and NA-R care plans.
• Administers medications and treatments and monitors medications and treatments for effectiveness.
• Give direct nursing care to residents whenever necessary and according to established nursing policies, procedures and standards.
• Provides accurate documentation in the residents’ records according to established resident care policies, procedures and standards.
• Provides effective leadership to subordinate staff, which may include disciplinary measures.
• Ensures that work responsibilities of subordinate staff are completed thoroughly and accurately within scheduled shifts and according to established nursing policies, procedures and standards.
• Provides information, education and support for residents and their families.
• Ensures adequate staffing levels for a scheduled shift.
• Communicates the needs of the residents to all the resident care staff of the unit.
• Interacts with physicians and other health care facilities as needed, according to the needs of the residents.
• May act as a resource person during a scheduled shift and consult different units or departments.
• Continually updates nursing skills and knowledge by attending in-services, continuing education programs and staff meetings.
• Helps to coordinate and participates in resident care conferences.
• Assist in orientation/training of new team members.
• Provide individual attention, which encourages residents’ ability to or attain the highest physical, mental, psychosocial well-being.
• Comply with rules and regulations as set forth by the ND Department of Health and the Center for Medicare/Medicaid services.
• In accordance with the team philosophy and Eventide's commitment for all staff to provide quality resident care, the person filling this position may be occasionally required to carry out or assist with other tasks in addition to the duties listed on this job description.
