Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the processing of satisfactions, mortgage modifications, assumptions, transfers of ownership, recasts, balloons, ARMs, mortgage assignments, document recordings, and divorced and deceased notifications.
This position verifies MSP fields for serviced 1st mortgage loans setup in MSP to the closing documentation for accuracy.
Primary Duties:
Update and maintain position procedures.
Daily:
PIF Tracking
Image PIF files to vendor by 11:00 AM
Process monthly and daily reports.
Research Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, and FHLB regulations by regularly utilizing their servicing guides.
Update modification documents as regulations change.
Process loan modifications, assumptions, and recast requests and verify modification keying in MSP.
Order modified title policies through the vendor as required.
Process satisfactions through the vendor for all Mortgage Servicing loans paid-in-full.
Work with legal department compulsory legal processes.
Record documents in Simplifile E-Recording system.
Update MSP and take record of Promissory Notes when received from doc custodians.
Review and follow up on US Bank, Bank of New York Mellon, NTC, and Simplifile notifications.
Serve as a resource to the Manager and research processes and procedures to find efficiencies within the system.
This position is required to maintain a working knowledge of all Bell Bank, State, Federal and investor guidelines in order to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.

Conduct activities consistent with established Bell Bank policies, procedures and systems, the Bell Bank Employee Conduct policies, the Bank Secrecy Act and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Skills Required:
Two to three years of experience in mortgage lending or mortgage servicing.
Good working knowledge of rules, regulations and policies relating to mortgage loans.
Detail oriented, organized, have excellent problem solving skills and math skills.
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work independently.
Good communication skills to interact with other departments, lenders, customers, Mortgage Servicing staff, management and various insurance companies.
Ability to be flexible and adapt well to change.
