Overview: Something new is coming to Jamestown, North Dakota! Coborn's, Inc.
is excited to continue to invest in the Jamestown, ND community - we're adding an Ace Hardware retail store! Because of this we’re hiring for a Store Manager to lead our new Ace Hardware location! The primary focus of this position is to direct and manage all phases of store operation.
This individual is responsible for obtaining maximum sales and gross profits through effective utilization of personnel and resources available.
A few of the responsibilities you can expect to have in this role are to: Provide exceptional customer service while serving as a role model for the store Plan, develop and implement organization policies and goals, establish priorities and communicate expectations to staff Hire, train, motivate, and develop staff, deliver performance evaluations and coaching for increased performance Direct and coordinate ordering, merchandising, and pricing of merchandise ensuring compliance with support center directives.
Monitor arrival of new products and arrange entry into POS system with the support center team Oversee housekeeping, sanitation, and safety programs and overall physical and facilities maintenance of the hardware store.
Requirements: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and email system.
