_*Service Advisor Job Description*_
Service Advisor's are a guest facing position, with complete focus on developing guest relationships, advising guests on needed repairs & services, selling recommended repairs & services, and managing guest expectations.
Service Advisor's must embody orderliness, customer service and foster good employee and community relations.
In short, the Service Advisor's job is to be a conduit from the customer to the technicians and back.
They provide the guest information and help our guests make an informed and intelligent decision about the repair and maintenance of their vehicle.
Fully responsible for customer satisfaction, our service advisors must make sure that the customer feels important and heard.
_*Responsibilities*_
* Arrive early enough to open the office and set it up for success.
* Say “Yes” to guests to keep the bays consistently full.
* Assist waiting guests
* Build parts & labor estimates
* Advise guests on needed repairs & services from estimates that you have created and gain guest approval
* Manage flags within our Point-of-Sale system
* Communicate with store manager, customer experience reps, marketing department, and other locations frequently
* Reply to guest communications across all platforms
* Educate and counsel guests on proper vehicle repair and maintenance.
* Ensure all guests are updated Daily.
* Assist in keeping work area, waiting room, and customer rest rooms clean and orderly
* Close the office at the end of the day
* Conduct bi-monthly meetings with the other Service Advisors with a follow-up conference with the General Manager
* Attend monthly & quarterly trainings
_*Qualifications*_
· Must have over three years of experience in guest-facing direct sales position.
· Must have demonstrated salesmanship skills.
· Must have great people skills, be empathetic, and a good listener.
· Must be willing to learn, adapt, and continue training to enhance your performance.
· Must be an effective team player with advanced problem-solving skills
· Must be friendly, tactful, reliable, and capable of assuming responsibility.
