The primary function of this position is to conduct full cycle sales activities for SpaceAge Synthetics, including lead generation, relationship development, customer service and collections for accounts of all sizes.
1.
Implement sales activities according to strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.

Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs and new markets.
3.
Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist distributors in promoting sales.
4.
Recommends product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.
5.
Represents the company at trade association meetings to promote product.
6.
Delivers sales presentations to key clients.
7.
Prepares manuals and technical publications for both internal and external use.
8.
Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
9.
Helps with product research and development.
10.
Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
11.
Compiles list of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
12.
Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or literature, and emphasizes salable features.
13.
Investigates and resolves customer issues with shipping, delivery and payments.
14.
Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
15.
Communicates estimated delivery dates to customer, based on information gathered from Manufacturing.
16.
Responsible for obtaining both contact and contract information and updating SpaceAge Synthetics customer database.
17.
Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
18.
Coordinates customer training.
19.
Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
20.
Investigates and resolves customer problems with delivery.
21.
Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
22.
Conducts self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of SpaceAge Synthetics.
