Job Description In the role, you will be assisting Bremer's FInancial Advisors by providing servicing and sales support that commonly includes greeting clients, handling/screening telephone calls, scheduling appointments and using various PC software packages such as word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics to generate reports, presentations and other correspondence.
Other key responsibilities include opening/closing investment accounts at the direction of the Financial Advisors, reviewing file documentation for compliance, working with internal departments and/or directly with the client to resolve service/operational issues, answering or providing information regarding procedural/sales questions, processing client service requests (address changes, statement copies, etc.
); processing the movement of funds.
Must demonstrate an understanding of, and committment to, firm compliance procedures and file maintenance.
Issuies sales/marketing information to clients and corresponds with the various fund groups or product vendors as required by the Financial Advisors.
May act as backup in taking and executing unsolicited orders directly from a client (if licensed or after appropriate licenses have been obtained) QUALIFICATIONS: Combination of education or experience which is generally acquired with a 4 year degree and 2+ years related experience in customer service/ sales support/ investments related work or 6+ years related experience in lieu of degree.
Knowledge of the brokerage industry.
Client service focus with ability to respond to requests in a timely fashion.
Strong organizational, prioritizing and multi-tasking skills.
Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Previous brokerage sales support experience preferred.
