Job Summary
Carries out a variety of healthcare development opportunities to further the mission of Sanford Health.
Key responsibilities include managing a portfolio of Children's Miracle Network corporate partners, third party fundraising events, annual giving, donor stewardship and special event coordination.
Additional responsibilities include making personal contacts with and soliciting gifts from corporate donors and prospects, leading specific Children's Miracle Network fundraising campaigns, and collaborating with support team on marketing and special events.
Has an entrepreneurial spirit to identify and implement development opportunities as well as self-initiating skills and desires.
Possess strong written, verbal and listening communication skills.
Willingness to travel regionally to work with corporate partners and donor prospects.
Well organized with the ability to work well with interruptions and stress.
Possesses flexibility and adaptability skills, which help to accommodate changing situations and workloads.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects to completion and possess a strong sense of customer service.
Possesses the ability and self-motivation to execute on development strategies.
Works well in team environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Two years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising/development, marketing, sales, and/or journalism special event planning preferred.
