Lynnes Welding Training is looking for a Senior Admissions Representative.
This position will support the Fargo, North Dakota location.
For over 17 years, Lynnes Welding Training has been providing hands-on training for the next generation of welding professionals, as well as workforce training and testing for organizations throughout the Midwest.
Our organization is growing, and the Senior Admissions Representative will play a crucial role in achieving new student enrollment goals.
*Purpose of the Position:* As a member of the admissions team, you'll be responsible for meeting clearly defined metrics and performance levels in a fast-paced work environment to achieve enrollment and start goals.
You will be responsible for contacting prospective students who have expressed an interest in furthering their education and you will help them understand how the programs offered at Lynnes Welding Training can meet their career training needs.
The Senior Admissions Representative conducts all admissions activities with the highest integrity and business ethics while adhering to state, federal, and LWT policies and procedures.
You’ll help prospective students decide if pursuing a career in the welding industry is in their best interest and if enrolling at LWT is the right choice for their education and career training.
The Senior Admissions Representative reports to the Director of Admissions.
*Job Description* In this full-time position, the Senior Admissions Representative will be a responsible team-member who can relate to young adults and successfully communicate with diverse populations.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities *include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
* Follows admissions criteria for all perspective students in accordance with all school and company policies and procedures, all applicable federal and state regulations, and all accrediting agency standards and requirements.
* Contacts prospective students utilizing the most appropriate method of contact (e.
g.
, phone, email, etc.
) to schedule career planning sessions and campus tours.
* Conducts admissions appointments with prospective students, and their support system, providing information about Lynnes Welding Training, available programs, admissions requirements, and benefits of pursuing a career in the welding industry.
* Use a CRM to efficiently manage and communicate with prospective student inquiries through inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, and other forms of approved communication.
* Evaluates prospective students based on his/her needs, desire, interests, qualifications, motivations and commitments.
* Completes and maintains all required paperwork and files (e.
g.
, enrollment, admissions requirements, requests, etc.
) and data entry in an accurate, timely, and compliant manner.
* Partners with Student Finance to assist prospective students in securing funding for their education.
* Schedules and conducts follow-up admissions appointments.
* Maintains engagement with all enrollees to ensure they successfully start their training.
* Assist in coordinating Open Houses, new student Orientations, and graduation events.
* Represent LWT at high school college/career fairs.
* Follows all training and guidance as provided by the Director of Admissions.
· Occasional evening and weekend work required.
· Work Monday – Friday and some Saturdays.
*Compliance:* * Demonstrates knowledge of, and carefully follows all applicable federal and state compliance requirements and regulations including those prescribed by the Department of Education, accrediting agencies, and internal LWT policies and procedures.
* Effectively communicates compliance requirements to students and other staff as appropriate and quickly escalates any compliance concerns to the Compliance department.
*Qualifications* · Associate degree or minimum of three years of comparable experience · Experience in sales, marketing, and/or post-secondary admissions roles · A strong track-record of meeting/exceeding monthly goals · A valid driver’s license · Successfully clear a background check · A student-focused attitude · Strong attention to detail · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Strong emotional and social intelligence · Ability to represent Lynnes Welding Training in a professional manner · A demonstrated understanding of and experience working with diverse populations *Benefits* * Health insurance * Paid time off * Ongoing training and development *Compensation* * $50,000 - $60,000 annual salary, based on experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.
