Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Work Characteristics:
Logistics and/or brokerage knowledge preferred but will train.
Ability to adapt and be flexible in an environment where priorities are constantly changing.
High level of customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and professionally verbally or in written/messaging format.
Timely and accurate data entry skills
Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and meet deadlines while working independently.
Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
Education/ Training:
Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
Computer Skills: Experience working with Microsoft Office, including Word.
Excel and Access.
DAT, TMW experience preferred.

The primary function of this position is to support carrier sourcing by securing capacity from carriers, providing quotes on freight, assisting with general logistics operations, and maintaining relationships with existing carriers.
Potential remote position.
Assist with Customer Quote requests online and via e-mail or phone.
Contact new carrier companies to establish a relationship and negotiate terms of transportation of freight.
Assist in procuring capacity for contract loads.
Maintain AND building relationships with preferred carriers.
