Deacom ERP is a comprehensive single-system ERP platform from ECI that gives process manufacturers one core product that integrates all the modules they need to level the playing field, run day-to-day operations more efficiently, and free them up to focus on what matters most - how their business gets done.
ECI is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, high-energy, hands-on professional to join our Professional Services leadership team to drive and enable a team of consultants to implement Deacom ERP.
As a member of our Professional Services team, you will have a major impact on our future success by supporting and coordinating the efforts of our Solutions Architect team.
In this role you will work hand in hand with both the Professional Services’ Leadership Team to utilize your team of Solutions Architects in the most efficient and effective way possible.
You will be responsible for resource allocation and forecasting, creating staffing solutions for implementation support efforts, consulting projects and scoping needs within the Professional Services team.
Additionally, you will look for and help create structure for future revenue generating opportunities for our most knowledgeable and skilled consultants.
What You Will Do • Responsible for annual budget calculations, monthly forecasting and actual revenue and utilization reporting • Responsible for team management including hiring, training, performance management and career engagement • Maintain reporting on utilization, revenue, team capacity, volume of project work, and outlook to advise strategic direction of department • Manage the Professional Services’ Solution Architects team providing management and oversight of platform implementations and ongoing functional consulting • Offer successful services offerings to optimize customer satisfaction and retention to new and existing customers • Provide management, coaching, and leadership to the team, including training in the Deacom ERP software, ancillary systems, and department processes.
• Lead the department objectives, goals, and tasks.
• Work hand in hand with the Professional Service’s Leadership team to facilitate product training and create a higher caliber consultant team through mentorship efforts by the Solutions Architect team.
• Utilize your command and understanding of the Deacom ERP to aide in information gathering and scoping for future sales opportunities, both on the New System and After Market side of the business.
• Work with the Professional Services’ Leadership Team to ensure adequate staffing needs for projects.
Manage and strategize resource forecasting to be able to support our workload.
• Help to create, design, and execute a program for ongoing continuous improvement efforts of our customers.
Identify ways to create recurring revenue opportunities using your highly skilled consultant team.
• Identify and create system best practices and work to roll them out to the Professional Services team.
• Be the face of our Solutions Architect team wherever the need arises, be that presales opportunities with prospect accounts, when presenting to management internally, or when meeting with new customers.
Minimum Requirements • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, accounting, supply chain, information systems or equivalent • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated management and leadership experience, preferably in a professional services environment • Extensive knowledge of the Deacom ERP system through time spent as a consultant and Solutions Architects • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage workflow to meet deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to change and proactively take charge of tasks and priorities is required.
• Experience with all phases of a client software implementation lifecycle, including initial needs analysis, project administration, software installation, onsite training, systems troubleshooting, and ongoing account management • Strong operational management, project management and communication/presentation skills required • Strong teamwork and leadership skills to lead collaboration across functions throughout the organization • Ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear, concise manner to users with varying levels of technical expertise via telephone and in-person • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, delivers high-quality work, self-motivated and an internal desire to succeed • Excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills • Possesses a professional presence suitable for direct client interaction by telephone • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Windows • Understand common industry business practices in manufacturing, operations, distribution, and finance • Experience with Financial Force or another PSA software preferred • Valid driver’s license and/or passport for the travel within the US & Canada that will be required.
• Willing, able, and eligible to travel domestically and internationally 25% of the time • Experience scoping and creating action plans with applicable hours for sales opportunities.
• Experience in our industry and hopefully with other software systems’ implementation.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
• Leadership skills and the ability to manage a team and work across departments.
