Job Details Description This position is responsible for developing and executing content strategies for RDO Equipment Co.
You will need to understand business priorities, target audiences, customer industries and customer journeys.
Using this information, you will collaborate with marketing strategists to define content journeys that attract, nurture, inspire and retain customers.
Job Responsibilities: You will be in the middle of it all, helping to identify the right content that delivers what customers want—where they want it, when they want it and how they want it.
Define content journeys for customers across industries.
Build the resulting content strategies designed to accelerate the customer through their buying journey.
Create a content plan to address the insights in the customer journey and strategy, ensuring the content is aligned to what the customer needs at each stage.
Provide resources and documentation for all writers in marketing and communications.
Be a customer advocate.
Relentlessly champion the customer and the experiences they have with the content you create—how they find it, how they consume it, how they use it to make decisions.
Leverage data and market insights for decision-making, including content optimization and new concept development.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating adaptability to evolving priorities.
Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and a diverse range of topics.
Manage local social media pages, local store pages, Google My Business posts and in-store digital signage.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand key messages and translate them into impactful content.
Maintain consistency with the company's brand voice and adhering to AP style guidelines.
Partner with designers, requestors, and the creative team to ensure cohesive content and design alignment.
Apply strong copy-editing skills to ensure accuracy and quality across all materials.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or related field 3+ years’ experience, preferably in a B2B setting.
Strong customer-centric mindset and demonstrated ability to put the customer first.
Familiarity with SEO research and best practices.
Excellent writer who understands how to frame a message in a clear, concise, and compelling way.
Recognized as a self-starter with a bias for action.
Creative problem-solving skills, and a growth mindset approach.
Experience managing across highly matrixed organizations, often with competing priorities.
