Sales Market Manager - North & South Dakota
Market Managers run New Belgium’s business in broad geographies.
They operate with limited supervision and are expected to perform many of the same functions as an area manager but without personnel management responsibility.
The primary area of focus will be the states of North & South Dakota.
The successful candidate will reside in the Greater Fargo area, we will also consider candidates residing in Sioux Falls.
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Market Development & Account Nurturing; Manage the growth and development of NBB brands in a defined geography; build strong partnerships with on and off-premise key accounts; achieve specified account goals; High weekly visibility in the market performing necessary promo's, staff trainings, and incentives; Perform regular business reviews.
Building and Managing Distributor Partnerships; Build true partnerships at all distributors; develops and manages all Annual Market Plans and perform business reviews; directly manage the P&L including distributor marketing funds and spending plans.
Market & Brand Development of Focus; manage the development and integrity of NBB brands in the market; create brand, market, and pricing strategies, with action plans, for each individual market; ensures that NBB is growing share over top craft competitors; develop pricing strategy to regulate margin and increases; identify and execute local sponsorships, events and donation opportunities
NBB Communication and Deliverables; NBB and Competitor Knowledge - knows and communicates pricing, programming and trends; Provide updates on market plan tracker, projects, business reviews, mid-month numbers, and development day recaps
Desired Skills/Experience (but not limited to):
3+ years as a rising star in beverage sales, national accounts or wholesale distribution management.
Must have strong understanding of distributor workings, national accounts, brand building, people development, basic computer skills and pricing dynamics.
Squeaky Clean Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR)
Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position.
The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.
Starting Salary Range: $60,000.
