Flinternship: Public Relations and Social Media
Flint Group is in the market for a client-minded Flintern to join our PR and Social Media team for the summer of 2024.
While working closely with the PR and Social Media team, all Flinterns will also work together to own a project for a local non-profit from start to finish while learning all aspects of agency life.
The 2024 summer Flinternship program will run May 21 – August 16 with an average of 30 hours of paid work each week.
Flinternship Requirements
To be eligible for a Flinternship, you must:
Currently be attending college
Have enough credits completed by the beginning of the internship to be considered at least a junior

What you’ll do
Support PR and Social Media team duties including, but not limited to, message development, media outreach, event support and facilitation of media opportunities
Assist in the management of our Flint brand communities and posts
Collaborate with the social media team as an additional content source
Who you are
Junior or senior status in college (Fall 2024), working towards a degree in public relations, marketing, advertising or a related field
Demonstrated background and knowledge in public relations
Possess the initiative to over-deliver
Professional in the workplace
Positive attitude and excited to learn
Detail-oriented and ability to multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Broad knowledge of marketing and advertising through classes or prior experience
