JOB SUMMARY:
The Business Development Representative is primarily responsible for engaging with decision-makers over the phone and through the web to qualify and work with the team to close opportunities.
This person must learn about clients’ needs and positioning Onsharp’s products and services.
Must have a successful track record of achieving goals and sales numbers.
This position partners with the Business and Development teams to deliver results on time, meet budget goals, and all sales strategies should be delivered with a high degree of quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Developing and qualifying leads through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation activities
"Hunter” sales mentality
Delivering value and benefit statements to business decision-makers
Learning about a prospect's business and identifying where Onsharp's products and services would make an impact in that organization
Meeting and exceeding individual productivity and sales goals
Working closely with Business Development team to ensure client satisfaction, opportunity follow up, and winning deals
Achieves and maintains rapport with client and works to provide the best possible service experience
Ensures that sales opportunities are responded to in a timely manner
Participates in meetings to report accurate status of opportunities and efforts
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications or related discipline preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a professional IT inside sales environment.
Strong verbal/written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively in a polished, professional, and friendly manner.
Skill in organizing and managing time across multiple tasks.
Skill in understanding customer needs and providing quality customer service.
Technology/Solution selling experience preferred.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting with interaction with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
