Great States Construction is looking for our Business Development Manager.
This position will be responsible for driving business growth within Great States Construction especially in our third party contracts.
They will develop a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected income.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Nurturing relationships with clients
Strong community engagement and network in the markets GSC is exploring opportunities
Collecting and analyzing market data
Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth
Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives
Researching prospective accounts in target markets
Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle
Supporting the Project Managers with developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients
Use prospecting and qualifying strategies to reach out to new leads.
Nurturing relationships with clients
Strong understanding of Great States services and processes as well as our business position and competition to keep business competitive.
Recording and updating all sales funnels in a Customer Management Platform
WHAT YOU BRING TO GREAT STATES
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Clear driving record
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or similar
Five years of proven sales experience in Construction or applicable industry preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Sales Communication
Negotiation
Marketing
Data analysis
Project Management
Work as a team for special projects
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to travel up to 50%
