Cabinetworks Group is looking to add driven, bright, and resourceful sales executives to its experienced team.
This position requires a hungry self-starter with strong attention to detail.
The candidate must have the ability to learn quickly, manage internal and external relationships, listen to the customer needs, and act as the customer’s advisor to provide a solution to those needs.
This is an ideal position for a growth oriented, intelligent, and motivated individual who is passionate about winning in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
There is a base salary, with very high commission potential.
Your earnings potential is only limited by your passion as you will be supported by a well-seasoned, well-respected operations group.
Must have multi-family builder/construction sales experience.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Sell and service Multi-family new construction or large rehab contractors (apartments, large housing authorities, assisted living, etc.
) Develop and maintain their own book of business Execute a proactive business development campaign to qualify prospects, assess needs, and acquire new clients Ability to generate contacts from provided leads and generate accounts by cold-calling, trade shows, and other networking opportunities Qualify customers potential Read blueprints and estimate jobs Secure contracts and letters of intent from customers Assist in job start up activities before tuning the job over to the operations group Provide customer service as required Ensure compliance with, and reinforcement of current sales process, tools and programs Develop effective relationships with key customers Prepare daily activity reports as well as participate in bi-monthly group calls Compile and manage relevant sales and expense budgets Will require travel within territory (10-20%) Able to work from home office Additional projects or duties, as assigned Organizational Relationships : Reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales No direct reports Works closely with the operations organization as well as the credit department External Interface : Will interface with Multi-Family General Contractors, Owners, Architects, and Designers.
Additional interactions could occur with Material Suppliers, Federal, State & Local Government and Regulatory Agencies, and Industry Groups.
Qualifications/Requirements: A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in direct outside sales A background in building materials within multi-family is needed , experience in cabinetry is preferred Experience and knowledge of cabinetry sales, field measuring, and design Experience in securing opportunities to quote on customer requirements, following-up on quotations submitted to customers, and closing sales orders Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, maintains a sense of urgency, personable, extroverted personality, and is well organized Project management skills are required Strong closer who is customer focused Ability to analyze problems and provide innovative solutions Basic computer skills in MS Office Software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Experience in cabinet layouts is a plus Able to easily enter and exit construction job sites on a routine basis Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds without assistance, on occasion Ability to travel 10-20% Shift Full or Part Time Full time Cabinetworks Group (the “Company”) is an equal opportunity employer and we want to have the best available persons in every job.
