Pay information Pay Level: 024 FLSA Category: Non-Exempt - Hourly A day in the life The Senior Account Intelligence Pharmacy Advisor is responsible for analyzing pharmacy benefits, programs, and presenting an informative conclusion of the analysis.
This position will provide benefits recommendations to clients, consultants and/or brokers based on numerous sources of health care data, trends, and financing options.
The Senior Account Intelligence Pharmacy Advisor is a consultative resource to assist in identifying key utilization trends and developing recommendations and strategy for clients.
Your responsibilities will include Works directly with clients and internal team members to gather requirements and to translate into the design of dashboards, reports, and/or other required output(s).
Leads complex consulting engagements with clients regarding their benefit plans and programs.
Presents creative, innovative, and strategic opportunities to collaborate with clients and team members around the issues and emerging developments in the pharmacy industry.
Reviews clients’ needs, recommends suitable approaches, and implements benefit program strategies.
Provides interpretation and in-depth analysis to effectively translate broad data sets into key insights, actionable results, and recommendations.
Trains, coaches, and mentors department staff and collaborates with leadership to support strategic goals within the team.
Monitors the research and escalation of critical items or issues and brings recommended solution(s) to leadership for final decision and/or forward path for resolution.
Assists leadership in evaluating and updating processes and procedures within the department driving efficiencies where needed.
Assists with high priority projects tied to company strategic initiatives, delivering accurate and effective deliverables.
Collaborates with cross functional with internal teams and acts as subject matter experts on pharmacy-related company initiatives Performs work under minimal supervision.
Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
Coaches and mentor’s department staff and collaborates with leadership to support strategic goals within the team.
Significant collaboration with the PBM on products, programs, and initiatives.
Serve as a pharmacy subject matter expert for sales and marketing related activities including coordination for Request for Proposal responses, consultant and group leader presentations on pharmacy benefit options, and marketing related documents.
What you need to succeed Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Marketing, Finance, Communications, or related.
5 years of health insurance, healthcare consulting, pharmacy benefit management, health industry, benefits, population health, professional consulting or related experience.
Connects with others easily and is very comfortable presenting material, while taking a consultative approach with clients.
Desire to collaborate and take lead on projects or initiatives.
This position will also collaborate with others outside of the Pharmacy team! Enjoys problem solving and finding great solutions for clients.
Some understanding or experience in Pharmacy is a plus!
