The Precision Landscape Irrigation Tech I is responsible for the installation of Irrigation systems of residential and commercial locations.
Working with team members to ensure completion of job(s) are completed on time and on budget.

* *PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:* * Installation and maintenance of commercial and residential Irrigation systems such as installing sprinkler heads and digging holes for sprinkler heads and valve boxes.
* Loading and unloading irrigation materials from company trucks throughout the day.
* Accurately locate and flag new irrigation system sprinkler heads * Locate underground private utilities to ensure safety and prevent damage.
* Hand trenching to locate utilities or where machinery is not able to be utilized.
* Perform general site cleaning.
* Perform irrigation system start-ups and blow-outs.
* Keeping vehicles clean and organized.
* Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, subordinates, and clients by telephone, or in person.
* Establish and enforce operating procedures and work standards that will ensure adequate performance and personnel safety.
* Train workers in tasks such as transplanting or pruning trees or shrubs, finishing cement, using equipment, caring for turf, etc.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
*KEY COMPETENCIES:* * Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various irrigation installation practices * Excellent problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work under pressure, tight deadlines, and in a fast-moving environment * Carry and use a smartphone for communication and reporting * Ability to read and interpret blueprints specifications and irrigation maps * Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
* Works well independently and with others.
* Organized with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
*EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:* * High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred/required) · Fluency in multiple languages required; preferred languages will be specified.
* Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
* Must have the ability to obtain a DOT Health card *PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:* * Work outdoors in various conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold.
* Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform installations, repairs, and inspections.
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
* Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, install and service irrigation systems.
* Prolonged periods standing and walking.
