50 Job Summary Performs installation, maintenance, service, and repairs in a clinical setting.
The Clinical Equipment Technician serves in a support role for delivery and set-up of equipment.
Maintains home medical equipment and rental equipment.
Manages equipment in computer system, including preventative maintenance and manufacturing protocols.
May be responsible for posting payments and managing the billing of home linked systems.
Possesses a working knowledge of computers and vendor software.
Knowledgeable in supplies, equipment, and warehouse terminology preferred.
Skilled communicator, both verbal and written.
Excellent interpersonal skills as well as experience in mentoring others desired.
Trust worthy and able to complete tasks assigned without close supervision.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Associate degree in electronics or equivalent experience/training at a biomedical school preferred.
Experience in a hospital setting with some specialized training on medical equipment preferred.
Must have the ability to work on mechanical and electrical equipment.
Experience in proper use of tools and diagnostic equipment, codes and regulations, and medical terminology desired.
Valid driver's license required.
Ability to obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL) with hazardous materials endorsement preferred.
Must maintain good driving record.
