ASN Constructors is a joint venture of three international contractors (Acciona, Shikun & Binui and North American Construction Group) who will work with the Metro Flood Diversion Authority and other area stakeholders to build a historic project that will protect the citizens of the Fargo-Moorhead area from flood waters from the Red River.

The Bridges Foreman actively participates in work related to structures construction projects, supervises the field crew and subcontractors and is responsible for the completion of all projects in a safe and timely manner while utilizing the highest quality of workmanship.
Always maintains a dedication to safety by modeling, providing education and enforcing safe work practices and company policies and procedures.
Utilizes proper size crew and equipment based on estimate to achieve cost effective productions.
Schedules materials in a timely fashion so as to not impact work activities.
Participates in weekly look-ahead schedule meetings and utilizes this schedule as a tool to effectively complete work.
Understands budgets and costs as estimated and utilizes this knowledge to construct project Understands contract drawings and specifications and utilizes these tools to construct project.
Completes a work activity in its entirety prior to moving to another activity and keeps work area clean and orderly.
Recognizes and documents additional extra work and notifies supervisor Properly cares for and utilizes company-owned equipment including pick-up trucks and small tools.
Manages the use of outside rental equipment so as to minimize costs going outside of the company.
Maintains and submits daily paperwork in an organized/timely fashion (i.
e.
timesheets, material tickets, truck tickets, force account information, daily diary, etc.
).
Works productively with other foreman and employees.
Analyzes work activities for potential safety concerns (ie.
Fall protection, manlift, excavation support).
Utilizes and instructs all crew members on proper use of safety equipment (ie.
hard hats, lanyards, etc.
).
Make sure the proper safety equipment is available and used by all field personnel.
Communicates with customer and ensures a high level of customer satisfaction.
Communicates with contractors or sub-contractors to coordinate work, goals, etc.
Requirements: Experience/Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Foreman.
Structures experience is required.
Highly knowledgeable in all aspects of bridge construction, structural concrete, forming, placing concrete, finishing.
Experience in managing crews of 4 or more employees.
Ability to read and understand project specific documents including schedules, plans and specifications.
Ability to oversee the work of others and clearly communicate instructions to crew.
Thorough knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work being performed.
Ability to understand and expertly carry out instructions.
Ability to keep records and to prepare production reports, timesheets, equipment logs, inspection reports, change orders and updating project files.
Ability to perform other administrative and/or project-based duties as assigned.
Must have a valid Driver’s License Physical Demands and Work Environment – ALL CRAFT AND FIELD POSITIONS WORK ENVIRONMENT · Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
· Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
· Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
· Noise levels in the work environment is usually loud.
· Ability to wear and work in personnel protective equipment including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, ankle-supporting safety-toed work boots and a safety vest.
