The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for leading the overall strategy and execution within a specified region of the Multifamily Portfolio.
The position will provide end-to-end oversight of general contractors and vendors, which includes a specific scope of work for each project, scheduling, and overall quality control.
Starting salary $62,500 (or more based on experience)!

The Project Manager role strengthens our Company’s mission and vision as an individual contributor, supporting the Capital Projects Department.
Core Performance Responsibilities:
1.
Set the local market strategy for capital projects, which includes contractor selection, material procurement, and the scope of work to be performed on each project.
2.
Manage the development and execution of each project which includes but is not limited to design/development, permitting, bidding, budgeting, scheduling, contracting, vendor management, billing, quality assurance/quality control and project closeout.
3.
Develop strong general contractor and vendor relationships to obtain optimal pricing and discounts, competitive bidding, and premium quality.
4.
Schedule multiple projects using a formal scheduling system and report the status of monthly progress.
5.
Coordinate and communicate the project status with property management company and portfolio management teams.
6.
Perform annual review of product lines and specifications, including research of new products.
7.
Source and maintain a list of vendors across all markets.
Experience and Education:
1.
Bachelor's Degree in business field or related subject preferred.
2.
Two or more years of construction experience as a Project Manager or Superintendent preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3.
Multifamily experience preferred but not required.
4.
Must have a strong understanding of local building codes, local building permit requirements and permitting processes to ensure that contractors are pulling and closing out all permits necessary to complete the jobs while staying in compliance
