Job Overview
Perform various aspects of carpentry work including:
Finish Carpentry • Rough Carpentry • Staining & finishing • Minor roof repairs • Minor drywall repairs • Hardware installation • Siding Repair • Insulation installation • May be asked to occasionally help with Emergency Services such as, water clean-up, board up, tarping, equipment set up and other emergency services, etc.
Job Requirements
· 3+ years of experience in home repair and remodeling · Knowledge of building codes and regulations · Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA) · Knowledge of woods and their uses and adaptability · Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry
Job Duties
· Understanding customer needs · Responding to change orders · Addition compensation for knowledge and ability to perform the following: light electrical, HVAC, plumbing, tile and granite, etc.
· Managing peers (dividing job tasks, working as a team) · Managing or working with subcontractors · Recommending job improvements, alternative methods, etc.

Ensure a high quality of service in all dealings with customers, clients, subcontractors, resource providers, and company employees involved in reconstruction services.
Must be dependable, possess strong time management skills, have a good driving record, and be able to pass a background screening.
Formal Education/Training
High school diploma/GED preferred
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
Walking and/or standing throughout the day.
Some heavy lifting of materials.
Some driving and sitting.
Occasionally climbing ladders.
The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat.
The noise level in the work environment and jobsites can be loud.
The employee is exposed to power tools and other machinery.
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements
This is a full-time position, working Day Shifts, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week.
This position occasionally requires long hours (beyond 8 hours a day) and weekend work in support of emergency services.
Travel is required and is primarily local.
However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
