ND Energy Services is looking to hire an experienced Crane Rigger for position in Western North Dakota.
Requires a strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow with the company.
A Crane Rigger assists with inspections and configuring cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, and blocks according to weight and size of the load to be moved.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Align, level, and anchor machiner
Attach loads to rigging support or prepare them for moving, using hand and power tools
Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures such as beams, ceilings, booms, using bolts and clamps
Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use
Fabricate, set up, and repair rigging, supporting structures, hoists, and pulling gear
Manipulate rigging lines, hoists, and pulling gear to move or support materials, such as heavy equipment
Select gear such as cables, pulleys, and winches according to load weights and sizes
Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads in order to ensure safety of workers and materials
Attends and participates in safety meetings
Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability
Tilt, dip, and turn suspended loads to maneuver over, under and/or around obstacles
Understand and comply with company, customer, and health/safety policies, and any other regulations that are required
Reports any and all incidents immediately
Able to work in all weather conditions
Performs other duties as directed by management
Required Skills:
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must possess organization and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work with a team
Must be able to lift 100 lbs and handle physical demanding work
Must be clean shaven
Must be able to communicate using oral and basic written communication
Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol screening and participate in the random testing pool
Must pass a background check and motor vehicle record check
Arrange for reliable transportation to and from work

The role routinely works in all weather conditions, including but not limited to: extreme cold ,heat, wind, rain, etc.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position.
This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work as job duties demand.
Licenses & Certifications:
Valid Driver's License
Class A or B CDL, preferred
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous Crane Rigger Experience, preferred
