As an Engineer II for Manufacturing Continuous Improvement (CI), you will be part of a growing team that champions Lean manufacturing at Marvin.

A key part of this role is the implementation of process development and process improvement initiatives as they relate to Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost Reduction metrics.
You will be responsible for projects that directly impact capital investment plans and overall ROI for the business.

Highlights of your role
Develop and implement Lean strategies in collaboration with key partners
Capture and analyze process data to keep production capacity ahead of demand
Lead continuous improvement projects and Kaizen events with multi-functional teams
Lead Value Stream Mapping to drive critical initiatives forward
Implement continuous improvement initiatives into manufacturing processes
Develop sustainment plans and conduct relevant audits
Mentor and guide colleagues on Lean methodology and CI techniques across the organization while being a champion for Lean culture
You’re a good fit if you have
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience (required)
A minimum two years of experience leading and participating in Lean initiatives (required)
Experience with hands-on implementation of Lean Six Sigma methods
Green belt or comparable experience (preferred)
Data analytics skills to connect project initiatives with business metrics
A willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to support manufacturing facilities across the company
