Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Perform electrical work in various settings including residential, commercial, and industrial
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Experience:
- Proficient in all aspects of electrical work including high voltage, industrial, and commercial installations
- Knowledge of NEC regulations and ability to apply them to projects
- Experience with electrical renovations and upgrades
- Familiarity with frame carpentry and the use of hand tools
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with logic controllers is a plus
