Job Description
The ideal candidate for this position is a motivated self-driven individual with a great attitude.
Assemblers are responsible for assembling electronic components and products.
This role does require excellent manual dexterity to work with small, detailed objects.
Individuals must be able to read work orders, follow instructions and receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
Experience in manufacturing and soldering is a plus but not required.
Industry training is available.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
High school education; or up to six months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Good eye/hand coordination (can work with small parts and assemblies).
Ability to read and speak English fluently.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions and procedure manuals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Receives production order, reviews assembly sample, and job specifications to determine assembly procedures.
Reviews component lists and obtains parts, sub-assemblies and mechanical components from the warehouse preceding assembly instructions.
Performs mechanical assembly of small parts or sub-assemblies according to work instructions.
Visually inspects parts of sub-assemblies to ensure proper assembly.
Installs printed circuit board assemblies and wire harnesses into housing.
Positions and fastens parts or wires using hand tools, power hand tools and solders connections following assembly methods.
Advises floor lead of any problems in fitting or assembling parts or sub-assemblies.
Determine ways to constantly improve productivity, quality, and safety.
Ability to solve minor problems and recognize bigger problems that require supervisor assistance.
Communicates and listens effectively in a professional and courteous manner.
Attention to detail and organizational skills (work neatly.
)
Ability to complete simple math (addition, subtraction, counting).
