*Role Summary:*
Lead and supervise the work of employees in the removing, trimming, and stump grinding of trees primarily around Fargo, ND and throughout parts of Eastern North Dakota and Western Minnesota.
Crewleader is primarily responsible for the tactical cutting work that is involved in tree removal and trimming.
This includes the use of bucket lifts, rigging equipment, and other pieces of equipment necessary to perform safe tree service.
*Duties:*
* Lead and coordinate the work of crew members while working with them performing tree removal, tree trimming, and stump grinding services.
* Use and operate bucket lifts and/or climbing equipment to remove and trim trees at heights up to 75 feet.
* Operate equipment such as skid steers, mini wheel loaders, mini skid steers, and stump grinders.
* Drive trucks that pull trailers and equipment.
(CDL Preferred)
* Organize daily plans, monitor employee performance, and monitor proper upkeep/maintenance of equipment.
* Create a healthy, safe, and professional work environment and encourage development for all employees.
* Train and coach employees on all aspects of the job.
This includes how to safely use equipment, how to safely perform tasks, and how to use necessary safety precautions while working.
* Maintains an accurate inventory and inspection system of all rigging and harnessing equipment used.
* Performs other duties as they become apparent or are assigned (some equipment repairs, cleaning equipment, organizing equipment, etc.

* Scout jobs and meet with prospective clients in the event the sales team is unable to do so.
* Occasionally work in other divisions of the company in the event normal tree services cannot be performed due to lack of work or equipment breakdowns.

*Minimum Qualifications:*
* High School Diploma
* Valid drivers license
* Experience operating chainsaws, cutting trees, and operating equipment
*Physical Requirements:*
* Must weigh less than 250lbs
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs
* Must be able to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, stand, walk, drive, push, etc.
* Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions.
* Must be able to work at heights up to 75 feet while operating a chainsaw or other tools.
*Hours and Seasons:*
Due to the nature of our work, hours are subject to change based on weather and season.
Below is a rough guideline for what can be expected throughout the year.
April-December - 40-50 hours/week (Guidine, not exact!)
* Majority of time spent completing projects
* 7AM start time
* Overtime hours are encouraged and can increase commission
January-March - 0-20 hours/week
* Time spent completing occasional projects, working on equipment, and learning new things about your industry.
This may include online training, traveling and visiting other companies in the U.
S.
, and obtaining certifications (CDL, arborist certifications, etc…)
*Travel and Mobilization:*
Applicant must be willing to occasionally live at the location of a temporary project site.
Hotel/lodging will be included and additional compensation may be provided.
*Compensation:*
Ranging from $27-$35/hour with commision based incentives.
