*Position Overview:*
The Apprentice Electrician will be an integral part of our workforce, assisting in a variety of electrical installations, maintenance tasks, and repairs for both residential and commercial properties.
Under the guidance of experienced professionals, the ideal candidate will learn and develop the necessary skills to become a proficient electrician, prioritizing safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship.
*Responsibilities:*
* Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in compliance with local and national codes.
* Learn to troubleshoot electrical issues and contribute to effective solutions to ensure optimal system functionality.
* Support in conducting inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
* Collaborate with journeyman electricians, project managers, and clients to plan and execute electrical projects.
* Gain proficiency in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to assist in wiring layouts and specifications.
* Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures to uphold a secure working environment.
* Maintain accurate records of tasks performed, materials used, and hours worked for reporting purposes.
*Qualifications:*
* Enrolled in or completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program.
* Basic understanding of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods.
* Ability to learn and apply problem-solving techniques to resolve electrical issues.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
* Commitment to safety practices and adherence to industry regulations.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
* Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
