Summary of Work
This internship will provide quality experience with reading and understanding NDDOT plans and specifications while working on construction projects.
Applicants will have the opportunity to gain experience in materials testing, construction surveying, and construction inspection.
Fargo summer projects include:
Bridge projects
Box culvert projects
Concrete projects
Concrete Pavement Repair
Concrete Median Paving
Concrete/Asphalt Paving
Salvage base
Embankment
Storm Sewer
Work zone traffic control
Signing
Striping
Electrical
Chip seals
Safety projects
Minimum Qualifications
Must be enrolled in an engineering technology or civil/construction engineering undergraduate degree program.
Requires ability to lift and carry a total weight of up to 50 pounds.
Possession of a valid Class D drivers License for travel within the state of North Dakota.
Requires satisfactory completion of the interview process and a verifiable record of satisfactory performance in previous employment.
