Pallet Line Machine Operator
Job Description
This position will operate on the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the pallet production lines/machines.
This team member will help conduct routinely scheduled maintenance and be responsible for helping resolve any mechanical issues, delays, breakdowns, and repair regarding the production and conveyor line.
The ideal candidate for this position must possess strong mechanical skills and have experience in a production background, preferably in pallet manufacturing and repair.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
Understanding of the mechanics of production line operations
Experience in conveyor line repair
Ability to provide general overall facility mechanical skills
Intermediate computer skills
Must have basic math skills
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
Must be able to deal with stressful situations, meeting deadlines and tight scheduling requirements
Must be able to shift priorities easily

Communicate with the pallet production line team
Interact with management on a daily basis to achieve unified goals
Attend and/or conduct any necessary training regarding the production lines and safety
Any and all other Duties as assigned by management and deemed necessary for optimal operations, performance and productivity
Education and Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent is required
Must be eighteen years of age or older
Minimum one (1)+ years of production line maintenance experience, pallet manufacturing and/or repair, or a combination thereof
Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Physical Requirements
Must be comfortable working in extreme temperatures of hot, cold and/or dry and loud environments
Must be capable of sitting, standing and walking for extended periods on concrete or hard surfaces
Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis
Requires periods during which continuous physical exertion is required such as lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward requiring the ability to regularly lift 50+ pounds without assistance and 100+ pounds with assistance and using proper lifting techniques
Have the ability to withstand loud noises and multiple distractions
Available to work overtime and weekends if and when needed

This position starts at $19-$21/hour DOE
Medical/Dental/Vision insurance after 30 days.
