Summary/Objective
Performs routine clerical, secretarial, and administrative work in answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, and record-keeping.
Essential Functions

While maintaining a friendly and professional manner, receives the public and answers questions in person and by telephone, and refers to the appropriate person or department.
Answers central telephone system and directs calls accordingly.
Obtains an understanding of bank products and services to proactively assist customers.
Picks up, sorts, distributes, and processes incoming mail.
Scans documentation for Personal Banking and Bookkeeping departments and reviews documentation for Personal Banking/Lending department.
Assists with special projects as assigned.
Consistently demonstrates appropriate interpersonal communication skills with customers, coworkers, and outside vendors.
Follows all Unison Bank policies and procedures.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role.
The employee is regularly required to sit and occasionally required to stand and walk.
The employee is regularly required to use fingers to type.
The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position, using a rotating schedule of 5 business days on, 5 business days off.
Typical hours of work are 9a - 5p on Mondays, and 9a - 4p on Tuesday-Friday.
Travel
Travel is local during the business day.
Required Education and Experience
High school degree or equivalent; 6 months to 2 years of related experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
2 or more years in the banking industry.
