Job Title: Armed Guard *Responsibilities & Requirements* * Protect individuals and locations from all forms of physical attack, vandalism, and other forms of abusive or unauthorized treatment.
* Respond to service calls and requests for assistance at assignment locations.
* Patrol assignment locations to maintain strong presence and investigate complaints, service calls, and requests for assistance.
* Must ensure duty weapon, uniform items, duty gear items, and all company security equipment and measures are maintained and remain in excellent working condition at all times.
* Complete and submit all pertinent reports, forms, and documentation per company SOP's for all assignments.
* Operate within established scope of practice per company SOP's, the North Dakota Private Investigation & Security Board, and all applicable State laws.
* Complete initial training and continuing education to maintain all licensing and training requirements.
* Must be capable of preparing for and testifying in court as needed after noteworthy events/incidents.
* Available to work a variety of shifts such as days, nights, weekends, and holidays if needed.
* Perform all required activities related to Safety, Security, and Protection for all sites and assignments.
*Qualifications* * Must have High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
* Criminal Justice degree preferred.
* Must have a valid Driver's License.
* Must have a minimum of two (2) years of full-time professional experience related to professional Security, Investigations, Law Enforcement, applicable Military Service, or in a First Responder role.
* Must be able to walk, run, lift, and carry and have sufficient mobility and dexterity to perform all manual tasks associated with Safety, Security, and Protection services.
* Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
* Must be capable of physical activities which may involve restraining individuals.
* Must have a strong moral, legal, and ethical commitment to the well-being of others and a professional work ethic.
* Must have a neat and professional appearance.
* Must be able to legally own a firearm and qualify with all necessary duty gear and equipment.
* Must have a clear criminal record and be able to pass Municipal, State, and Federal criminal background check for employment and licensing.
