Plains Art Museum is seeking applicants for Curator of Indigenous Programming.
This position will provide leadership to the Plains Art Museum’s Native American and Indigenous programs, exhibitions, and collections.
They will be responsible for the overall development, organization, operation and coordination of the museum’s Native American and Indigenous programs and social engagement strategies.
This individual will work closely with the Director/CEO, curatorial team, and Director of Education to develop content, publications, interpretation, and educational materials.
The Curator of Indigenous Programming will work collaboratively to steward and provide access to the museum’s collections.
This position requires a high level of professionalism, administrative and financial management skills, as well as a commitment to quality programs, excellent service, and the ability to establish relationships with Native and Indigenous nations, organizations, and community members.

The salary range for this position is $48,000-$50,000, commensurate with experience.
