The head coaching assignment is a part-time, seasonal role.
The faculty contract guides compensation for the 9-credit role.
Compensation will range from $12,850 – $20,400 commensurate with education and coaching experience.

Responsibilities: · Live the mission, vision and values of M State to ensure a positive experience for all students and stakeholders.
Service to M State students and stakeholders is a core component of the position and work responsibilities.
· Head coach duties, including recruiting, conducting practices and tryouts, organizing and scheduling road trips, tracking students’ athletic eligibility, and other related duties as required to maintain team.
· Serve as women’s head volleyball coach for a member college of the Minnesota College Athletic Conference.
· Public relations and program development.
Required Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in related field · Assistant or head coach volleyball experience at the collegiate level or high school level; · Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills; · Demonstrate the ability to recruit and coach; · Ability and commitment to adhere to the policies and procedures of Minnesota State Community and Technical College, MCAC, and NCAA Division III.
· Ability and willingness to travel and work a flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends; · Communication, both oral and written, in individual and group settings via phone or in person, sufficient to motivate students and influence behavior or turn a situation around and work with colleagues in a cooperative and respectful manner.
Preferred Qualifications · Experience working in a two-year community and technical college setting.
Other Requirements NOTICE: In accordance with the Minnesota State Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to Minnesota State’s vehicle use criteria and consent to a motor vehicle records check.
