The YMCA is hiring Youth Sports Coaches to serve as mentors and role models for the children in our childcare and community programs, helping them develop the basic skills and fundamentals of their sport.
In our Youth Sports programs, we provide the children the opportunity to make new friends, improve coordination, learn about teamwork & sportsmanship, and of course, have a blast!
We have multiple Youth Sports Coach positions open: Basketball, Cheerleading, Dance, Flag Football, Floor Hockey, Futsal (Indoor Soccer), Gymnastics Kickball, Soccer, T-ball, Track and Field, & Volleyball.
You will have the opportunity on the application to indicate which sport(s) you are interested in coaching!
Youth Sports Coach:
Coach children between the ages of three and nine, helping them develop the basic skills and fundamentals of their sport
Create a positive and nurturing relationship with the children, while building cooperative relationships with the parents and caregivers
Encourage children to cheer on their peers and and work to promote & build team unity
Promote and support the potential of all children in the program, as well as facilitate peer-to-peer connections
Serve as a mentor and role model to the youth in our programs
Shifts:
Available shifts - Tuesdays-Friday 9:00am-11:00am

Pay & Benefits:
$13.
07/hour
Part-time employees begin accruing Sick Leave immediately upon hire and Paid Time Off (PTO) after one year of employment

At least 15 years old
