TEACHER ASSISTANT (Full-time)
Jasmin Child Care & Preschool is looking to fill our full-time position in our toddler and infant classrooms.
We seek reliable, responsible, outgoing individuals passionate about caring for children.
We also seek someone with experience or interest in working with children of diverse cultures.
*POSITION PURPOSE*
Responsible for supervision, management, and caring for Infants and toddlers ages six weeks to two year.
*POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Assist teacher in the instruction and implementing activities that promote each child's health, emotional, social, cognitive, physical, and growth.
* Supervise and interact with the children in your area of the program, being sure to respond appropriately to children’s behaviors, needs, and problems.
* Responsible for cleaning your area of the program.
* Perform any related assigned duties.
*REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES*
* Have a warm, friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, can relate well to children, and be willing to fulfill job responsibilities by program philosophy.
* Child CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and First Aid certifications are preferred or *willing to be trained within 30 days of employment.
*
* Must be of good mental and physical health, capable of mature judgment, and possess knowledge and experience in classroom management and interpersonal relationships.
* Must be willing to certify attendance of 6-13 hours of approved training related to child care annually.
* _*Minimum 1 year of experience in a childcare center setting*_
*PREFERRED SKILLS & ABILITIES*
* Speak one or more languages in addition to English.
* Have experience working with diverse communities

* Hours: Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
