LearnWell is currently looking for our next creative and passionate teachers to fill three full-time school year positions in South Fargo, ND.
The certified teachers will work in a unique fast-paced behavioral health facility center; which involves working with pediatric and/or adolescent students in a small classroom setting and supporting them academically with common core subjects while they are receiving treatment.
Essential functions of the job may include but are not limited to the following:
* Plan, prepare and deliver daily lesson plans and instructional material for an average of 10-12 students, with a maximum amount of 15; in a small group setting
* Help students one-on-one if extra assistance is needed on their individual school curriculum
* Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction
* Communicate necessary information regularly to students, hospital and parents regarding student progress and student needs
* Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies
* Updating daily attendance and creating daily session reports for each student
* Comfortable working K-12th grade
All three positions entail a 40-hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday, 7:30-4:00 or 8:00-4:30, based on candidate preference.
