4 *JOB SUMMARY* The purpose of this position is to oversee the operations of the assigned classroom.
The incumbent provides supervisory guidance and direction to classroom staff, and effectively manages problem solving skills to meet student and staff needs.
The incumbent assesses, develops, and implements Individualized Education Plans (IEP’s) for assigned students.
The position assumes the authority, responsibility, and accountability for managing overall effectiveness of the classroom.
*QUALIFICATIONS*_ *(minimum requirements)*_ *Education and/or years’ experience required:* * North Dakota Teaching License * Masters Degree in Special Education *Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities:* * 3 – 5 years of experience preferred * Previous experience with IEP’s *Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable): * * This position supervises General Education Teachers and Education Direct Support Professionals.
