PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Competitive Gymnastics coaches create and/or implement developmentally appropriate activities to enhance skill development and achieve the desired skill objectives set forth by USAG.
Competitive Gymnastics coaches work specifically with either boys or girls, aged 4-18, depending on the program and/or level.
Competitive Gymnastics coaches design activities to progress towards the desired skill.
Hours will vary with this position throughout the year:
Typical School Year Hours:
Monday through Friday 3:30p-8:30p
As part of your position, you may be required host parent conferences and travel for gymnastics meets, which typically occur over weekends in the months of December through May
Typical Summer Months Hours:
Monday through Thursday 8a-12p, 12p-4p or 4p-7p
Responsibilities and Preferred Requirements:
All candidates must have a passion for building relationships and positively influencing youth through movement
Ability to Unlock Potential while learning all content needed to teach the curriculum
Complete administrative tasks associated with scheduled classes (attendance, skill tracking, evaluations, etc.
)
Keep customers safe by teaching age-appropriate activities and enforcing gym safety rules.
Complete all nightly cleaning duties and gym reset tasks.
Stay current with upcoming TNT Events
Maintain all required certifications pertinent to position (TNT will train all required skills and certifications)
Former competitive gymnastics coach or competitive gymnasts preferred
Attending, interested in attending or graduated from university for: Elementary Education, Physical Education, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Physical tasks such as moving, adjusting, and setting up equipment upwards of 50lbs.
Ability to position self in multiple ways to ensure safety through performance of specific skills.
TNT is a fast-paced environment, and the successful candidate will be able to adapt quickly and self-reliant.
