PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Serve TNT’s mission by building and fostering relationships in a fun, positive, and safe environment.
Childcare coaches create and/or implement school age-appropriate activities to enhance skill development and achieve the desired skill objectives.
Childcare coaches work specifically with school-age children of all abilities, Kindergarten through 5th grade.
TNT follows a ratio of 12 children to 1 coach to ensure safety and quality of programming.
A successful candidate is willing to perform the following:
Serve healthy snacks (minimal prep required)
Develop and implement movement based, age-appropriate activities in our gymnastics facility, activity gyms or at parks
Lead art/craft projects
Assist with homework/reading
Supervising children during field trips to parks, pools, community events, and more
Hours will vary with this position throughout the year:
Typical School Year Hours:
After School Care:
Monday through Friday – 2:00p-5:30p
School Out Day Camps (includes holidays and no school days)
Days of the week will vary - 7:30a-5:30p.
Typical Summer Months Hours:
Monday through Friday 7:30a-5:30p
Responsibilities and Preferred Requirements:
All candidates must have a passion for building relationships and positively influencing youth through movement.
Ability to Unlock Potential while learning all content needed to teach the curriculum
Complete administrative tasks associated with scheduled classes (attendance, skill tracking, evaluations, etc.
)
Keep customers safe by teaching age-appropriate activities and enforcing gym safety rules.
Complete all nightly cleaning duties and gym reset tasks.
Stay current with upcoming TNT Events.
Maintain all required certifications pertinent to position (TNT will train all required skills and certifications)
Childcare coaches must meet ND childcare licensing requirements
Former Childcare employee, Para Educator, Nanny, Coach
Attending, interested in attending or graduated from university for: Elementary Education, Physical Education, Health Education, Exercise Science
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Physical tasks such as moving, adjusting, and setting up equipment upwards of 50lbs.
Ability to position self in multiple ways to ensure safety through performance of specific skills.
TNT is a fast-paced environment and the successful candidate will be able to adapt quickly and be a quick study and self-reliant.
