Eventide on Eighth Care Center in Moorhead, MN is seeking a part time Health and Wellness Coordinator to work Monday & Wednesday 830a-3p and Friday 830a-12 Noon.

The Coordinator is responsible for the organization, coordination, and delivery of high quality health and wellness programs that meets the needs of the residents, tenants, and families of Eventide.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Leadership
Develop, coordinate, and deliver Center health and wellness programs for individual and groups that educate participants about a variety of health-related topics and provide access to resources.
This will be done through long and short term planning.
Connect with large and diverse audiences in a fun, enthusiastic and educational manner through programming, events, and activities.
Champions inclusion activities, strategies, and initiatives to build strong relationships.
Conducts health and wellness assessments for each participant.
Understands & contributes to a comprehensive wellness program that is preventive, holistic in nature and addresses mind, body and spirit dimensions.
Provide consistent reporting to Eventide Team members regarding resident progress and all notable changes.
Coordinates individual input with Eventide Team members to enhance care planning and in providing exercise programs that are a corollary to ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) plus more sophisticated lifestyle choices.
Supports wellness programs for co-workers and develops on-going educational opportunities using in-house expertise and community resources.
Assists in carrying out recognition program for residents and staff.
Promotes fitness and wellness continuously through participants, newsletters, and other campus communication.
Schedules periodic events to promote fitness and wellness; i.

Center Operations
Develops and maintains Center protocol for equipment upkeep and overall maximum safety of program participants.
Evaluates and measures Center operations to ensure long and short term goals are met.
Provides specific reports as needed for initial Pay for Performance project.
Cultivates relationships to support fund-raising.
Collaborate with co-located Therapy operations.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Indirect supervisory responsibility for community direct care staff and employees who attend training sessions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor Degree in related exercise field preferred
Trainer and/or Facilitator certifications preferred
Ability to demonstrate competency in the areas of work relations and teamwork, with a guest, resident, and customer focus
Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ work experience with program development in a similar setting required
On-going and/or continuing education opportunities provided.
